...a noose around our neck, or a good friend?

Stress is like a badge. We almost wear it with pride! If we feel stressed, we must be doing something pretty special. Right?
Is it inevitable? To a point YES. So called acute, short-lived stress is actually our driver. Stress helps us survive.
Conversely stress all of the time, day in and out, causes some pretty scary consequences (think burnout, physical health, mental health).
Yet a few simple strategies can bring peace, balance and healthy change into an otherwise chaotic experience.
🧠 Did you know that our brain cannot tell the difference between stress and excitement?
It is actually the meaning we assign to the experience that determines whether we have a negative or positive response.
⭐️ Wouldn’t it be nice if we leveraged stress as indeed that good friend that supported us in our success?
